Back2Black is more than a festival. It is a movement. We present to the world the extraordinary contributions of the African continent and highlight the genetic, historical, and cultural connections between Africa and Brazil — and, by extension, the rest of the world — through our shared origin as humanity and the interdependence of all peoples.

For 17 years, the Back2Black Festival has been a pioneer in fostering dialogue and musical encounters through concerts, artistic performances, talks, and conferences, becoming the most significant event dedicated to the dissemination of Afro culture in Brazil.
